We’ve launched our Harvest Heroes campaign!
Please, can you be our Harvest Hero this year? We’re in more need of your gifts of food and money than ever! Food poverty is hitting more and more people in our community. For the first time ever this year, we gave away over 400 emergency foor parcels in one month. We need heroes to help us help others!
We’re looking for heroes of all types who will help local people in times of crisis this Harvest.
IMPORTANT: Please contact us to arrange dropping off your donations. If at all possible donations need to be brought to the food store on Duke Street – we can arrange for the store to be open outside of normal hours. Only very small donations should be taken to any of our other drop off points i.e. One or two shopping bags only.
We have produced lots of FREE resources to help our amazing supporters collect food and raise funds for the food bank this Harvest.
We can offer support for your Harvest events, including providing speakers who can present fun and interactive school assemblies, speak at groups and Harvest services and celebrations.
Get in touch now if you would like to book a speaker or would like to speak to us about how you can help bring hope this Harvest.
This Harvest we are hoping you will raise funds alongside collecting food for the food bank. We are really grateful for gifts of food which we can’t do without, but we have a variety of running costs to cover that ensure the food makes the biggest difference possible.
- £10 is the cost of providing a food parcel
- £150 can pay for a week’s administrative support making sure the right parcel gets to the right person at the right time
- £500 can pay for a month’s rent for food bank store
