Supporting your local foodbank makes a big difference to so many
Financial Donations and Funding
Your donations help us to keep the food bank running at a time of severe pressure and also support our other services such as lunch and dinner clubs and our support to parents with young children to help local people who are struggling with poverty.
In the days before COVID, we supported an average of 225 people per week, half of which were children. With the increase in the cost of living, our ‘new normal’ is a frighteningly higher level than we’ve ever seen before. We are now supporting over 800 people per week.
We are grateful to the Department of Work and Pensions for providing the Household Support Grant to Buckinghamshire Council enabling their support of One Can Trust. We are also enormously grateful to local businesses, grant providers and the many individuals who regularly donate to One Can Trust.

Localgiving
Localgiving is a safe and secure platform that enables you to donate money to One Can. It processes Gift Aid on our behalf too.
At the foot of the first page of the Localgiving site, tick the box if you’d like us to keep you updated with news and information regarding the charity.
It couldn’t be easier or safer to set up regular gifts or make a one-off donation but if you need any assistance or have any questions, please call on 01494 512 277.
Setting up a standing order with your bank
If you do online banking, it’s very easy to set up a regular standing order by visiting your own bank’s website. Alternatively, download, print and complete our standing order form and return it to us at the address on the form. We’ll take care of the rest. Don’t forget to also send us a Gift Aid form (see below) if you are happy for us to claim 25% extra on your donation.
You can also take the form to your bank and they’ll set up the standing order for you.
Bank transfer
If you would like to make a donation by bank transfer, please use the details below. Please also email office@onecantrust.org.uk and let us know the following details:
- The total amount transferred.
- The date the transfer was made.
- Your details if you would like a receipt.
- If you are donating on behalf of a group, their name and postcode so we can thank them.
- If there is a reference field, please enter your name.

A Stewardship Giving Account is a secure and easy way to organise online donations. It only takes a few minutes to set up an account and it allows you to credit your account and request donations to charitable causes in just a few simple steps. You can set up regular donations or make one off gifts. Gift Aid is organised on our behalf, making it very cost effective for One Can.
Donating to One Can Trust doesn’t need to cost you a penny. You can support us every time you shop online at over 4,000 retailers including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, John Lewis & Partners, eBay, Expedia and Argos. A percentage of every penny you spend online is turned into a donation by the retailer, at no cost to yourself. Simply sign up through the Give as you Live website. There is an App that you can download too so that you can support us on the go and never miss a donation.
