The staff and students from Great Marlow School have been long-time friends and supporters of the One Can Trust foodbank, and this year they’ve surpassed themselves again! They’ve collected record levels of food donations and donated an incredible £879 to support local people in need.

How did they do it? Once a term, they ran a food drive among staff and students to collect food. They held an inter-house school competition before Easter to see who could bring in the most food, and resulted in victory for Warrior house.  And generously, knowing the foodbank needs financial support alongside gifts of food, they donated the proceeds of its annual business enterprise to help us keep the project running. A stunning £879.33 was raised from a range of innovative business enterprise activities run by GCSE students.

Our huge thanks to everyone at Great Marlow School. IF you’ve been inspired and would like your school to get involved in changing lives for the better, get in touch!
